Middle Colonies Quiz

The 13 Colonies began with great hope and some luck.  I wonder what region I would have preferred to settle if I were a colonist?

The Middle Colonies sound like a good place!  There were lots of artisans who brought a variety of skills and ideas.  Pennsylvania sounds really nice.  Of course having a government with bicameral (or two-house) representation is tough to beat!

The 13 Colonies!

Ever heard a silly story to memorize the 13 colonies?

Here's one!

Silly Story to Memorize 13 Colonies:
There once was a cow named Georgia. Georgia was a special breed of cow known as a Jersey cow. Georgia was not a regular cow. She was sometimes known to be a little bit crazy. One day Georgia got away from the farmer and had a crazy idea to climb the Empire State building. She climbed all the way to the top and got stuck. As a crowd gathered they looked up to see Georgia. They could see the she was wearing a big yellow underwear. Georgia for some unknown reason had a Virginia ham tucked under her arm. They also noticed that she had something in her hands. In her right hand she had a pencil. In her left hand she had a paper with connect-the-dots. As they looked closer to the paper they noticed the connect-the-dots were actually a picture of Mariliyn Monroe, a famous actress. Marilyn was walking down a road. She was heading to a church to attend Mass. In the church they sing two Christmas carols.
THE END
